Effective Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:01am, a stay-at-home order will be issued by the Ontario government that will require everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, such as: going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for exercise or essential work.

There are no changes to rules around regulated health care professionals as we are deemed essential. According to Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act , 2020 (effective January 11, 2021), businesses that can continue to remain open include health care services provided by regulated health professionals (point #53), organizations that provide health care including clinics and independent health facilities (point #55), and manufacturers, distributors, and businesses that provide logistical support of or for products and/or services that support the delivery of health care in all locations (point #58).

In addition, if a clinic provides additional health care services, such as registered massage therapy, physiotherapy, or psychotherapy, these remain unaffected as well. Please visit Enhancing Public Health and Workplace Safety Measures in the Provincewide Shutdown (January 12, 2021), page 25 for further details.

As health care services we are exempted from today's announcement, patients and the public will continue to be able to visit our clinics during regular hours of operation. We will continue to comply with strict PPE and safety precautions in our clinics to assure the safety of our patients and team members.

Please review our strict Covid Protocols prior to your next visit. Thank you.
